Tula Tuesday Linkup

Hello there, fellow lovers of Tula Pink‘s fabulous City Sampler book!

The official QAL ended already, with stunning results, but when some local friends and I started our own, much later QAL, I realized many people in blogland were also still working on their blocks. You all range from nearly-done to just-bought-the-book, and every stage in between. Some of you are using Tula fabrics only, some of you are pulling teeny scraps from years of stash. Some of you are making all 100 blocks in numerical order and some of you are jumping around as the mood strikes… and you’re all awesome.

And I thought… why not start a linkup, so we can admire one another’s amazing work, cheer each other on, share inspiration and tips, and make new friends at the same time?

So I’m plunging in to host my first ever linkup, Tula Tuesday.

Starting Tuesday, March 4, 2014, I will host a weekly linky party dedicated to City Sampler blocks. This linkup is unofficial, and is in no way endorsed or sponsored by Tula Pink, Free Spirit, David & Charles, etc. This linkup is not a contest, has no finished project deadlines, and no prizes. That said, it does have some rules, to keep it fun and on topic:

  1. Please only link to your own posts (from the last week) containing City Sampler related content.
  2. Please link to the actual post and not your homepage.
  3. Please link back here in either the body of your post or in your sidebar/wherever you typically show off linkup buttons.
  4. Please visit and comment on other links. Don’t just post and run… that’s no fun for anyone.

I’m planning to keep this running through the end of 2014, and possibly a bit longer. My personal goal is to complete 10 blocks per month from February through November, then assemble the top in December, and finish it ASAP. Life could get in the way of those plans, but, for now, let’s assume that I’ll stay on track.

Want to join in? Grab a button, and come back on a Tuesday! I’m looking forward to getting to know you all, and watching your blocks emerge…
